“No amber lights”: RSL LifeCare approved for $42.6M Tamworth village and aged care development

RSL LifeCare deputy CEO Illana Halliday says they chose the town because it was a major regional centre with a significant war veteran and war widow population.

The development will feature 57 self-contained units and a 62-room, two-storey aged care facility, and offer the Not For Profit’s LifeCare at Home service, first to village residents and then to the wider community once more staff are “on board”.

RSL LifeCare now has 44 sites across NSW including west Dubbo where it is currently spending $12 million to expand its existing village.
