Regional NSW operator Sunrise expands “supported living” living model to Newcastle

1 min read

Sunrise Supported Living is now selling 71 units combining retirement living, assisted living and aged care at its new Cameron Glen village in Cameron Park, 19km west of Newcastle.

Residents can choose from one-, two- and three-bedroom units with the choice to change the type and level of domestic and support services as they need and on-site nurses on call 24/7.

The village is also an approved aged care provider with access available to home care packages for residents. “It should only be necessary to pay a deferred management fee once in your life,” this marketing feature states.

Founder Paul Greenup already has one village in the NSW North Coast town of Tuncurry, which is currently being doubled from 50 units to 90 – a clear sign of demand.

Mr Greenup previously had four villages in VIC operating under the same model before he sold them to Freedom Aged Care in 2015.
