Steven Strange appointed to board of healthcare software provider Global Health

Steven Strange, Co-Founder and former Executive Director of Health Metrics, a leading provider of software solutions to residential aged care, retirement village, home care and disability care operators in Australia and New Zealand, has been appointed to the Board of Global Health.

The ASX-listed healthcare software provider said Steven brings 30 years of leadership experience in the health industry to the Board.

“The ongoing digitisation of the healthcare sector, fast tracked by the worldwide pandemic, also highlights why the skillset of Mr Strange will be a very welcome addition to the Board at this time,” Global Health told the ASX.

In April, Tanarra Capital bought a controlling stake in Health Metrics, which Steven co-founded with Lisa Papettas. The pair had retained a minority stake in the business before Steven announced that he would step down from the group this month.

“The Board of Global Health has always been characterised by a demonstrable depth of business, healthcare industry and worldly experience which enables easy access for the CEO and the leadership team to seek out and obtain excellent counsel at any time. The passing of the baton from Mr. Robert Knowles AO to Mr. Steven Strange is further evidence of this and sets Global Health up very well as part of its current growth cycle for the challenges ahead,” Steven Pynt, Chairman of Global Health, said.
