Sue Levy is leaving Canberra-based aged care and retirement living provider Goodwin after 14 years with the organisation – eight as CEO.

Since Sue took over from Chris Lamont in 2014, Goodwin has more than doubled in size, “not just in physical size, but in the reach and impact of the organisation,” said the company in a statement announcing her farewell.

“I’ve loved every minute, every year in Goodwin. It’s been an honour. It’s an honour to care for those who have cared for us. It’s an honour to have been CEO and I’m very proud of the organisation,” Sue said.

“I want to sincerely thank every single Goodwin employee, past and present, for their contributions both large and small. I’m tremendously grateful for all of the hard work and the many sacrifices that have been made. We have always endeavoured to do the right thing for our residents and clients and each other. This has required the most impressive displays of teamwork, innovation, and resilience I’ve ever seen, and working with you has made my time as CEO nothing short of a privilege.

“I look forward to spending time with my family and young grandchildren while I consider what will come next.”

Goodwin operates home care, independent living and residential care throughout the ACT and also has a retirement and assisted living facility and home care service at Batemans Bay on the NSW South Coast.
