Sunshine Coast aged care home evacuated in middle of night after flooding

40 residents from Estia’s Mt Coolum aged care home (pictured) were evacuated just before midnight following concerns about flooding and sewage issues last week after torrential rain caused flooding in southeast Queensland.

The ABC reported the residents were taken to other facilities across the Coast.
