The Parkside at IRT Pioneer Place development

Residents have started moving into the eight-storey Parkside at IRT Pioneer Place in central Wollongong with 66 of the 75 two- and three-bedroom apartments already sold and over 100 expressions of interest lodged for the remaining nine.

The community Not For Profit began building the development in mid-2016. Prices start from around $500,000.

Breaking news: Government delays new Aged Care Act

Minister for Health and Ageing Mark Butler and Minister for Aged Care and Seniors Sam Rae announced this morning that commencement of the new Aged Care Act on 1 July 2025 will be delayed four months until 1 November 2025.
