St Peters Church in Toorak has applied to build a vertical village plus a car park for 117 cars adjacent to its church on the prime corner of Toorak Road and Dalriada Street. It will require the removal of a healthy Atlantic cedar tree plus the demolition of the St Peters Toorak Tennis Club building. They have had 892 signatures signing a petition to fight the development.
