Halcyon welcomed its first six homeowners to its newest up-market land lease community in Logan Reserve, south of Brisbane, called Halcyon Rise, which opened earlier this year.

Nestled on 100 acres the luxury Over 50s community houses 320 home style dwellings on a riverfront location.

The community will be the centre of a $200 million Regional Lifestyle Precinct with co-located with a medical hub and an Arcare aged care facility, which is almost complete.

It is Halcyon’s second development of this type after it opened its first in Buderim, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

The homes come with 2.4kw solar panels as standard and are built with materials such as steel frames, Hebel panels, water-saving fixtures and insulation to assist with natural cooling and heating.

Free caravan and boat storage is available for homeowners living in the gated community which will have CCTV and number plate recognition.

Residents will also enjoy 20 acres of private open space.
