Anglicare to bring aged care home in Sydney’s northwest back to life

Not For Profit faith-based operator Anglicare Sydney today announced it has signed a lease for the former Wesley Rayward site in Carlingford, 22km northwest of Sydney’s CBD, which will be recommissioned and is expected to welcome new residents into 74 rooms in 2026.

Roshana Care Group acquires closed aged care home in regional NSW

Perth-based aged care operator Roshana Care Group will reopen Rosedurnate Aged Care, in Parkes, a town 355km west of Sydney, which The Salvation Army closed in 2024. The 70-bed home will be refurbished before reopening in the first quarter of 2026. Parkes Mayor Neil Westcott said “wonderful news”.
