Southcare’s $25M strata titled over-55s apartment development in South Perth opens for public sale

The WA Not For Profit aged care and home care provider is moving into the seniors’ housing market with its new 82-apartment ‘Mankara’ development in Manning, 7km south of the Perth CBD.

Designed by Cameron Chisholm and Nicol Architects, the one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments are priced from $309,000 to $799,000 and will be delivered in two stages with 49 in the first and 33 in the second.

Construction on the apartments as well as a café and community facilities is expected to start in late 2021.

More than 27,000 people over the age of 55 that live within a 10km radius of Mankara and Southcare says there is a shortage of quality, safe housing options in the area.
