Updated figures reveal that listed land lease operator Hometown is now under challenge in its leadership of the sector. In Ingenia’s HY21 results it revealed that Hometown has around 8,500 home sites with little development upside.
By comparison, Ingenia has around 7,500 sites made up of 4,350 established and 3,150 development sites across its portfolio, with 11 locations in development.
Stockland had 4,000 development sites and with the Halcyon purchase, it will have an additional 3,800 sites – a total of 7,800 homes.
The next closest is Palm Lake Resorts, owned by the Elliott family, based in Southport QLD.
