Paul Browne continues to lead the retirement village sector with ‘new thinking’.

His latest venture, LDK Healthcare (Love, Decency, Kindness), a joint venture between Cromwell Property Group and Aspire Group in Canberra, has just announced it will receive $60M in Federal Government investment.

Browne is converting a disused office park in Tuggeranong, Canberra with plans to transform it into a state-of-the-art, energy-efficient retirement village – which will house up to 450 residents across more than 380 apartments.

The Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) is funding the installation of 700 KW of solar panels, which is expected to cut the greenhouse gases for the village by 50%.

The CEFC has been tasked by the federal government with investing $10 billion in clean energy projects.

LDK Healthcare CEO, Paul Browne (pictured) spoke at our LEADERS SUMMIT in March to discuss his ‘new thinking’ in seniors’ accommodation. He reviewed his new ‘LDK membership model’ – which replaces the DMF.

In essence, the model is assisted living with a unique financial and services offering.
