1 min read

The commercial lawyer and former partner of King & Wood Mallesons (1987–2014), who led the Board of Directors through the formation of Anglicare Sydney after the merger of Anglican Retirement Villages and the Sydney Anglican Home Mission Society, will retire around the time of Sydney Anglicans' Synod in September 2024.

Greg also steered Anglicare Sydney through a period of significant reform and under his leadership, the Not For Profit has grown into the largest provider of retirement living in Sydney and a leading provider of aged care and community services.

"Anglicare Sydney is well placed to face the future under the leadership of our CEO, Simon Miller, and the time is right for me to step back and serve the Diocese in other roles, as well as pursuing professional and personal interests. I will remain a strong supporter of Anglicare and thank all our employees for their dedication to serve those in their care and in our communities,” said Greg in a media release.

Simon, who addressed the LEADERS SUMMIT in Sydney last Tuesday, said Greg led the merger with Anglicare New England and North West in 2018.

The Board has commenced a search process considering both internal and external candidates. The Right Reverend Gary Koo, Board member of Anglicare Sydney and Bishop of Western Sydney, is chairing the selection panel.
