Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT appoints a new CEO

1 min read

The Not For Profit has announced Monique Reynolds as its new Chief Executive Officer after serving in the role in an interim capacity for the past three months.

Previous CEO Helen Emmerson (pictured below right) resigned in September last year from the home care, aged care and retirement living provider after five years in the job.

"After a comprehensive search and competitive recruitment process that attracted more than 100 candidates, the Board determined that Ms Reynolds’ diverse experience in aged care, finance, property, and strategic business transformation is a perfect fit to meet the needs of SCC," Chair Lawrence Hallinan said.

“My promise to our staff was that we would find a CEO who is worthy of working alongside them and of leading SCC. I know that in Monique we have found such a person."

Monique has more than 25 years of experience leading and managing a range of teams across sales, marketing, product development and operations. Prior to joining SCC, she worked in senior roles for Westpac, Suncorp and NAB.
