Whitehorse Council in Victoria has been threatened with recovery action by the Department of Health and Ageing (Department) over a capital works grant of $1,431,600 provided for 1991 for Nunawading aged care facility. The Department is demanding that $715,800 of that grant be refunded because the Council sold the facility in 2008 for $17.65m.
