Key Features:
- Nurse Practitioner Expertise: NPs are highly experienced registered nurses with advanced qualifications. Including a Bachelor and Masters of Nursing, and over 5,000 hours of specialty experience. They are authorised to diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and refer patients to specialists.
- Medicare and PBS Eligibility: NP consultations are eligible for Medicare rebates, and NPs can prescribe medications under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. Ensuring accessible and affordable care for patients.
