Last Monday and Tuesday over 3,800 people made 4,100 searches for seniors accommodation on villages.com.au, a new daily record.
This is remarkable when you consider that just 25,000 village homes change hands each year, or 68 each day. So 3,800 people have put their hand up saying something has happened in their lives to make it worthwhile to search for a village but only 68 actually bought. That is 1.8%.
There is strong interest in the village proposition demonstrated by the average time on site of three minutes and 15 seconds and doing 3.29 pages. In web terms, this is high.
It could be argued that demand far exceeds supply but that demand is latent and waiting to be activated!
