NSW-based Not For Profit aged care provider Warrigal has won the Excellence in Large Business award at the 2022 NSW Business Awards.
Warrigal defeated several commercial nominees to take the award, which follows its Excellence in Large Business win at the Illawarra Business Awards in October, as well as being named National Aged Care Provider of the Year in 2021.
Warrigal CEO Jenni Hutchins (pictured centre), who was appointed in October to replace Mark Sewell, says the award acknowledges the impact the provider is having on its local communities.
“At a time that has been challenging for most aged care providers, this award is a credit to the hard work of our dedicated staff at every level at Warrigal.
“The dedication of our staff and volunteers as they followed the financial recovery plan delivered by our board and managers, all while providing the best quality support to the older Australians using our services, is why Warrigal has been so successful in growing to help even more older people,” she said.
