A female resident of Glenorchy Gardens, a Hobart rental village operated by ING, has died in a fire in her unit. Smoke was noticed by another resident at 10.25am. The manager had to use his key to get entrance to the locked apartment. When the fire brigade arrived the flames were reported to be 2 metres high. They only found the womans body when they had extinguished the flames.
