ACSA draws big political names for Canberra Q&A

1 min read

Minister for Aged Care Ken Wyatt and Shadow Minister for Ageing Julie Collins were among over 50 MPs and their staff to attend the Q&A session hosted by ACSA at Parliament House last Tuesday.

Over 20 ACSA representatives including CEO Pat Sparrow, President Paul Sadler, and board members John Murray (WA), Stephen Cornelissen (VIC), Greg Skelton (QLD) were on hand to answer questions about  home care, residential care, retirement living and RRR issues, plus representatives from Russell Kennedy Lawyers for legal and financial questions.

Ms Sparrow said she hoped the organisation would become the “go to” for MPs seeking expert advice.

“MPs’ offices have been reporting to us that they are getting increasing inquiries from their constituents about aged care and we thought this Q&A forum would be a great opportunity to assist them with answers to the questions they get on a daily basis,” she said.
