AlayaCare launches Layla to unlock AI-powered efficiencies for home care

1 min read

The cloud-based home and community care solutions provider has launched an AI-powered conversational assistant designed to transform how home care teams access and use data.

AlayaCare says frontline workers typically lose 20 to 30 minutes per shift searching for scattered information, while 80% of healthcare data remains unstructured, creating inefficiencies that impact care quality and coordination.

Layla provides real-time access to data on care plans, client profiles, visit updates, and caregiver schedules – all within a single, secure platform integrated with AlayaCare Cloud.

“We believe the future of home care lies in utilising technology to complement human effort,” said Adrian Schauer, CEO of AlayaCare. “Layla is a testament to our dedication to empowering care providers with the tools they need to deliver exceptional care and our commitment to innovation and future thinking.”

Annette Hili, AlayaCare’s General Manager ANZ, said Layla is particularly relevant as providers face growing pressures to do more with fewer resources.

“Layla is a major step forward for the home care sector,” she said. “By leveraging the power of AI we’re able to give care workers instant access to important and relevant information they need. Layla is reducing admin time and freeing them up to focus on what matters most: their clients.”

Key features of Layla:

  • Comprehensive data access across care plans, clients, visits, and staff.
  • Seamless integration with AlayaCare Cloud for immediate relevance.
  • On-the-go mobility, providing real-time updates in the field.
  • Trusted medical knowledge for accurate definitions and guidance.
  • Strong security measures to protect sensitive client data.

Layla is now available to AlayaCare Cloud users across Australia and New Zealand. For more information, click here.
