The Sydney-based Arton Group, owned by Sean Howard who also owns the Kewarra Beach Resort and the Double Island Resort, is pushing ahead with its $150 million Kewarra Residential Resort. The new development will have 294 luxury 2-3 bedroom apartments, some boasting their own plunge pools and will include a 120-bed aged care facility. The project is expected to take up to 10 years to complete and will release more than 40ha of land.
