Wivenhoe Village takes out award for Best Retirement Living Development 2018 Property Council of Australia

The Wivenhoe Village in Cobbitty

Boutique village developer Mbark, led by John Leo and Adam Somerville, won the GHD Woodhead Award for the village at Cobbitty, 60km southwest of the Sydney CBD.

Developed in partnership with the Sisters of the Good Samaritan, the long-term owners of the land, the village features 149 single-storey homes on 120 hectares of protected woodland.

It’s the second time Mbark has taken out the top gong – in 2014, they won for The Arbour village at Berry in NSW’s Shoalhaven area.
