Private developer Greengate (Andrew Sweeney, Howard Smith, Matthew Fisher and the Myer Family) will next month complete their 89 apartment and 66 Suite agedcare facility St Brigids Green in Maroubra.
67 village apartments were completed as stage one eight months ago with residents moving in immediately and the final 22 apartments plus 66 suites will be completed next month, with residents waiting for occupancy.
The Gov Gen Sir Peter Cosgrove will officially open it this Friday.
Greengate was established 10 years ago and developed St Peters Green as a joint-venture with Catholic Healthcare in Lane Cove. They are developing another village in Kogorah (Sydney) and Buranda (Brisbane).
