Seabrook Lifestyle Estate’s approved 216-home village in Tasmania’s northwest for sale

The 11.6ha site off the Bass Highway in the rural locality Doctors Rocks on Tasmania’s northwest coast was to be Tony Parker’s first venture in over 55s living after Waratah-Wynyard Council approved the development application in April.

Now the approved manufactured home estate is being marketed to potential developers by national brokerage business HTL.

"With a DA approved only a few months ago and the site already cleared and levelled, the planning risk has been greatly mitigated," HTL Property Director Paul Nyholt said.

"This is a greenfield, development-ready opportunity; able to be capitalised upon by an incoming purchaser."

It was planned as an "exclusive residential community" to be developed in seven stages.

HTL National Accommodation Director Andrew Jackson said the development project had been carefully planned and was ideally positioned to target over 55s.

Close to half of the population are aged over 50 years and nearly a third over 60 years.
