Court clears aged-care chief Jon Campbell

1 min read

A court case QLD has been watching.

The head of the Baptist Church’s QLD aged care provider has been vindicated of claims he tried to manipulate his elderly “cognitively impaired” father-in-law who cut his family from the family trust.

In a judgment handed down in the QLD Supreme Court recently, Judge David Jackson ruled that Mr Clacher’s daughter Janine Blumke and her husband, Glenn, had convinced the elderly man to cease contact with his other family members for their own financial benefit.

Justice Jackson said he found it was Mr and Mrs Blumke who engaged in “unconscionable conduct” in influencing Mr Clacher to cut the rest of the family out of his life.
