DCM Institute launches Village Manager Professional Development and Peer Network with National Roadshow

1 min read

Over the last two weeks, we have travelled to Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide to launch DCM Institute’s PD and Peer Network – a unique and integrated professional development program dedicated to the Village Manager.

The Network Program is specifically designed to educate and support village management professionals across Australia so they can continue to build competence, access ongoing training and be peer supported in the field – and confidently and successfully navigate the increasingly complex management of Retirement Villages, Land Lease Communities and other Retirement Downsizing options.

Learn more in the full brochure HERE.

Co-hosted by the team at MinterEllison, the first Roadshow events were attended by more than 100 village managers and industry professionals.

Each event featured a breakfast presentation and discussion on Village Management, the new Retirement Living Code of Conduct and ‘Regulation Jeopardy’ (see above story) with the focus on preparing managers to meet the village accreditation and Code of Conduct starting 1 January 2020.

Contact us HERE if you would be interested in attending any future PD and Peer Network Programs.
