Infinite Care’s first VIC aged care home receiving strong interest 3 months from opening

1 min read

Construction of MA Financial Group's residential aged care operator's first Victorian aged care home is progressing according to schedule, with Infinite Knoxfield now expected to welcome its first residents in mid to late October 2025.

The five-storey 177-bed aged care home, 33km southeast of the Melbourne CBD, which has views across Waterford Valley Golf Course and to the Dandenong Ranges, will be owned by $3.7 billion Australian Unity Healthcare Property Trust, which purchased the site in July 2021. Private operator Infinite Care has signed a 25-year lease with Australian Unity Healthcare Property Trust to operate the facility.

Infinite Care CEO Luke Greive (pictured right) said, "This moment represents more than just a new location; it’s a milestone in our journey as an aged care provider committed to delivering heartfelt, person-centered care across Australia.

"Opening in Victoria is not only a strategic step for Infinite, it’s a deeply personal one for me. It signals our commitment to expanding our care, our values, and our vision to even more communities."

A spokesperson for Infinite Care told The Weekly Source they expect to announced more expansion updates soon.

Infinite Knoxfield has already received a significant number of expressions of interest.

"We’ll be welcoming local stakeholders, healthcare partners, and community members to join exclusive hard hat tours starting in mid-August," the spokesperson said.

Infinity Constructions is the builder on the project, the construction company that builds Infinite Care's aged care homes. Connect Project Management is overseeing the project. Construction began in February 2024.

Infinite Care has 17 aged care homes across South Australia, Queensland and New South Wales. It acquired a vacant aged care home in Windsor, 5km southeast of the Melbourne CBD, last year, from Estia Health, with plans to reopen in 2025.
