Building envelope noncompliance and exceeding building heights has not stopped the City of Coffs Harbour backing WPP Pty Ltd’s plan for a seven-storey block for 25 two-bedroom independent living apartments, with amenities including a gym, pool and external terraces.
The proposed site of the project currently hosts tourist and visitor accommodation via seven single-storey units. They will be demolished.
On Thursday, 25 July, the council approved the development application and allowed for the variance of the non-compliance issues.
