Vivacity Property breaks ground on $320M Coral Cove lifestyle community in Bundaberg

Vivacity Property has officially broken ground on its $320 million Natrium Coral Cove Lifestyle Community, a 10-year project set to deliver 504 homes for over-55s in Bundaberg’s coastal suburb of Coral Cove.

Built on a 41.5ha former quarry site just minutes from the Coral Sea and 20 minutes’ drive from Bundaberg, Natrium Coral Cove marks Vivacity’s largest project to date. Bulk earthworks and civil works are already underway, with construction commencing on the clubhouse and the first stage of homes.

The $18 million clubhouse will anchor the community, offering a dining room and bar, cinema and theatrette, multipurpose community rooms, sports bar, library, 25-metre pool, spa, steam room and magnesium plunge pool, private treatment rooms, and a wellness centre. Outdoor facilities will include a bowling green, tennis and pickleball courts, and a BBQ pavilion.

Managing Director Jonathon Steggles Mendez said Natrium Coral Cove would “set a new benchmark for resort-style living in the Wide Bay Burnett region.”

“At the heart of this community is simplicity, transparency, and connection – where residents can free up capital, move into a brand-new low-maintenance home, enjoy resort-style facilities and live every day like a holiday,” he said.

Vivacity Property is already active in New South Wales with its Tallowood Lifestyle Community in Medowie (Port Stephens), 180km northeast of Sydney, and Stratford Gardens in Tahmoor, 97km southeast of Sydney, which will deliver 220 homes.

Key project partners include:

  • Shadforth Civil Contractors – overseeing external infrastructure, bulk earthworks, and civil works for the first 113 homes.
  • IDC Construct – awarded the contract to deliver the community’s clubhouse.
  • Azura Building Group – building the first 68 homes, sales suite, and display homes.
