The Not For Profit national home care provider and the ASX-listed digital health technology firm are piloting a conversational AI virtual assistant for home care, the first time such a platform has been used in Australia.
'CuriousThing' will be used for appointment scheduling, with the aim of making the home care experience more efficient and responsive to customer needs.
The pilot will run for three months starting in June, initially for a select group of Silverchain’s home care clients in Western Australia, but with the aim of rolling the technology out across all Silverchain's customers nationally.
The trial has been backed by the home care provider's charitable arm, Silverchain Foundation.
The virtual assistant will make proactive outbound calls to confirm, reschedule or postpone visits from Silverchain’s care teams, with the aim of resolving common client problems with scheduling and appointments.
