1 min read

NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure has approved the State Significant Development by NSW Land and Housing Corporation for a five-storey affordable housing development with 86 apartments in a growing renewal precinct, 11km northwest of Sydney's CBD.

The DKO Architecture designed project, which is led by Homes NSW, will deliver an equal mix of social and affordable apartments in a 4,199sqm site near schools, parks, and public transport.

For the construction to take place, seven unoccupied dwellings have to be demolished. There will be communal open spaces at ground and podium levels. It also features 42 basement car parking spaces. The apartments will be a combination of one- and two-bedroom dwellings.
