Editorial: the gnarly problem of housing an ageing Australia

Like many countries around the world, Australia is currently facing down a triple threat – insufficient aged care bed numbers, not enough retirement village homes and not enough hospital beds – it’s happening right now.

Without suitable accommodation and health services available, the Baby Boomers will be ageing at home, at risk of social isolation and poor health and in most cases, without family support to help guide them on this journey.
