Lake Macquarie Council assessing a $38M seniors housing development proposed by new village entrant

The Lake Macquarie Council is looking at the $38 million development application for senior’s living and retail on a 16,800sqm site in Mount Hutton, 14km from Newcastle.

Submitted by development advisers Baini Design on behalf of a mystery new developer Grand Hutton Developments, plans for the development include 66 two-bedroom units and 17 two bedroom and two three-bedroom villas, with the villas constructed in a separate building.

Two retail spaces and a basement car park will also feature.

The owner of the land has also submitted an Owner’s Consent Form giving permission for the development to be built on her land.
