Following its $15 million purchase of the 19ha site in Kuluin, the partnership between Living Gems Lifestyle Resorts and Singaporean company Thakral, has received approval – subject to 103 conditions – for the development including a country club, tennis courts, bowling green, swimming pool, recreational open space areas and an RV parking area.

The first stage of the development will include 57 homes.

GemLife already has four communities across QLD, NSW and VIC and more than 1,000 homes in their development pipeline.

Breaking news: Government delays new Aged Care Act

Minister for Health and Ageing Mark Butler and Minister for Aged Care and Seniors Sam Rae announced this morning that commencement of the new Aged Care Act on 1 July 2025 will be delayed four months until 1 November 2025.
