The RVA has secured the talents of Simon Owen in his surprise election to the Presidency of the national RVA Board, taking over from Tom Galletta who has been the quietly achieving President for some years. The surprise surrounds the fact that Simon relinquished his position as CEO of Aevum in late August and has kept a low profile since. In fact he is currently overseas on holidays (until mid January) and so was elected in absentia. He was also elected unopposed. His reputation for energy and hands on involvement were cited in his election.
