Plans to build Kerrisdale Lodge in Beaconsfield by Good Shepherd Lodge (pictured) were unveiled in July last year; a facility which aims to be North Queenslands most innovative. The Mackay Regional Council approved the development this week. Kerrisdale Lodge will offer 60 aged care beds in addition to 26 one and two bedroom apartments plus 18 two and three bedroom villas.
