In the 2023 federal budget, funding was allocated for the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) to add aged care assessments to My Health Record (MyHR).
ADHA’s senior project manager for aged care, Julie Khoury, said work on the project will commence in July 2024, it has been reported by Pulse IT, and will require significant analysis of the systems before solutions can be worked out.
ADHA’s aged care program also involves developing an aged care transfer summary (ACTS) for MyHR. The ACTS is currently in the technical delivery phase and is aimed at supporting residents transitioning between an aged care facility and hospital.
