Aged care sector to be part of RFBI’s award-winning Mental Moments Show

It’s Mental Health Month in October and the sector is being invited again to honour and celebrate the frontline carers in the sector.

Not For Profit provider Royal Freemasons Benevolent Institution (RFBI) marked Mental Health Month last year with a week-long free livestream event, Mental Moments Show, hosted by publicist Max Markson, and featured Aussie greats Normie Rowe OAM, Rhonda Burchmore, Kamahl, Angus Gill, Sam Powers and Geoff Jansz.

HESTA, the industry superannuation fund for workers in health and community service sectors, awarded RFBI, the Outstanding Organisation in the Aged Care Awards, for Mental Moments.

Mr Markson said this year’s event is bigger and better with the Mental Moments Show running daily from 1 to 31 October.

The daily show will also be freely available online at www.mentalmoments.com.au to the families of people in aged care who may not be able to see them in person because of COVID-19 lockdown.

Again, it will feature a host of guests including Federal and State politicians, entertainers, comedians and sports stars as well as personalities who appeared last year.
