The donation to the Tel Aviv University (TAU) will go towards a recently-built student centre, now named Millie Phillips Student City, as well as attracting researchers and providing recognition for innovators.
TAU president Professor Joseph Klafter told The Australian Jewish News the money will broaden opportunities for young people to gain a world-class education. “We are deeply grateful to Millie for her support and long-term vision,” he said.
In December, two Milstern aged care facilities had all residents transferred to other aged care homes by the Department of Health.
