The specialist aged care provider has completed the redevelopment of its aged care home in the rural town of Lockhart, 520km southwest of Sydney.
Respect acquired Woodhaven in 2019. The home, which has been in operation for more than 30 years, has gained six new rooms, expanding its capacity to 29 beds.
Upgrades have also been implemented throughout the home, including a new kitchen and laundry, upgraded fire services, and refreshed garden spaces. The home also features a new Allied Health room, hairdresser, and staff facilities.
Jason Binder, CEO and Managing Director of Respect, said: “Woodhaven is a special part of the Lockhart community. This redevelopment means we can continue to provide quality care in a modern and welcoming environment."
Woodhaven General Manager, Lisa Krebser, added: “We’re proud of the care we provide and the improvements we’ve made". She said her team is excited to welcome visitors to see the changes at an Open Day they are hosting at Woodhaven on Friday 22 August 2025, between 10am to 2pm.
Respect has added its 36th residential aged care home – and its ninth for 2025 – following the purchase of seven UnitingCare Queensland homes in May, continuing its rapid national expansion.
