Town planners Saunders Havill Group has lodged a development application with Brisbane City Council to build a 166-home land lease community for Ingenia Lifestyle in Rochedale, an outer southern suburb of Brisbane.
Ingenia Communities announced it had purchased the 7.1ha greenfield site for $24 million in December 2021.
The plan proposes nine different one- and two-storey two- and three-bedroom house designs along with with communal facilities including social space, games room, dog park, cinema, gym, yoga and pilates spaces, vegetable garden, swimming pool, workshop and pickleball courts.
Ingenia Communities currently has 35 land lease communities in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, according to the application.
