RetireAustralia secures step forward for Brisbane village
“Our residents want more than a home – they want a lifestyle that supports their health, independence and community,” said RetireAustralia CEO Dr Brett Robinson.
RetireAustralia has gained approval to expand its Arcadia Retirement Living community at Parkside Yeronga in Brisbane’s south.
Economic Development Queensland has signed off on plans for a fourth building and new public plazas that will link into the precinct’s central green spine.
The additional building will deliver 58 independent living apartments plus an expanded wellness offering, including a larger gym and yoga studio, sauna and hydrotherapy pool opening onto an outdoor terrace.
“Our residents want more than a home – they want a lifestyle that supports their health, independence and community. This expansion will help us deliver exactly that,” said RetireAustralia CEO Dr Brett Robinson.

Designed by Marchese Partners/Life 3A, Arcadia’s existing facilities include a rooftop BBQ, bar and lounge, wine room, cinema, concierge service and lifestyle coach.
Located within the Parkside Yeronga master-planned precinct, the village offers leafy surrounds minutes from the Brisbane CBD, close to public transport, cafés, shops and medical services.
Construction of Arcadia Retirement Living is progressing at pace, with building two recently topping out. On completion, the village will comprise more than 217 independent living apartments and a 10-suite care hub, providing a continuum of care that enables residents to age in place.
