Australian architects Marchese Partners innovating the UK retirement and aged care markets

Australia’s national retirement and aged care specialist architecture firm Marchese Partners has quietly exported its knowledge to the UK under the leadership of 14-year Marchese veteran Stewart Dean.

With 30 staff now located in London, they have been appointed by Riverstone Living, Frogmore, IAC, Lifecare, Red and Yellow and Guild Living.

Interestingly, they are introducing innovations not seen in Australia.

At the Epson Hospital site (pictured), a 3.6 acre site being developed by Guild Living 19 miles south of the London CBD, they are creating 306 Guild living residences, 28 Guild care suites, 10 Guild care residences and 24 Key worker apartments.

It will also include a new café, a nursery, restaurant and shops for intergenerational activity.

On the Avon River in Bath, they are designing 282 Guild Living residences, 30 Guild Care suites and 5 Guild care residences, plus commercial office space, nursery, consulting rooms, café and restaurant.

Marchese’s international offices support London. They include Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Christchurch, Auckland, Kuala Lumpur and Madrid.
