All Stage 1 homes sold in 10 days before land lease community’s public launch
Key points
  • Sell-out start: Lincoln Place sells first 24 homes in 10 days
  • Local demand: Most buyers are staying close to family and friends
  • 197-home community: Moama resort to feature premium wellness amenities
  • Regional boom: Population growth fuels over-55s housing demand

Demand for over-55s lifestyle accommodation in regional Australia continues to outstrip supply.

The 9.2-hectare Lincoln Lifestyle Moama, located within The Range Estate and near Rich River Golf Club, will deliver 197 homes once complete alongside a multi-million-dollar clubhouse and wellness precinct in the town in NSW’s Murray region.

The entire first release of 24 homes sold out in 10 days through Lincoln Place's Priority Access Club, ahead of the public launch. More than 60 groups are part of the Moama Priority Access Club.

The sales result comes as the twin towns of Moama and Echuca face unprecedented growth, with the population expected to increase 25% over the next 15 years.

Lincoln Place Chief Executive Officer, Paul Yeo, said the popularity of the first release demonstrated strong demand for lifestyle-driven homes that embrace the area’s active, connected way of life.

“When a first release has a strong uptake like this before the public launch, largely to locals, it’s a good indication the market has been waiting for this kind of option,” Paul said.

One in four buyers in the first release are from the Murray River region, while over half live within 25km of the community.

“Lifestyle is certainly a strong part of the appeal, with future residents able to walk or drive a few minutes to the Murray, Rich River Golf Club and local wineries, and come home to a secure, gated neighbourhood with an abundance of amenities and green spaces,” Paul added.

The amenities include a heated indoor pool, outdoor pool, pickleball court, gym, private theatrette, library, lounge and dining areas, and bowling green, centred around landscaped green spaces.

The first stage of civil works are on track to commence in August, with the first homes scheduled for completion in mid-2027.
