In-home care is set to become the "cornerstone" of Australia's healthcare system, says Tamra Bridges, East Coast Executive Director of national Not For Profit home care provider Silverchain.
"We're moving into a new era, one where hospital care in the home, virtual health care and specialist home services will redefine how we think about home care delivery," Tamra told attendees of the 2025 LEADERS SUMMIT.
The provider, which cares for 140,000 home care clients annually, has expanded its acute care services and established a national footprint, requiring significant investments in technology and workforce.
