The Daily Telegraph puts Bupa Aged Care on the front page - lining them up for the Royal Commission?

1 min read

The newspaper took aim at Bupa as follows:

“Bupa, the country’s largest aged care operator raked in $464.7 million in taxpayer funding last financial year to run its 72 centres but 13 of those have been issued formal warning notices to improve standards or be hit with sanctions since July last year”.

The Royal Commission has to be seen to be investigating underperforming operators.

Remember the banks. Bupa, with its high profile and recent track record, will not be helped as a target by the Telegraph.
