Lifestyle Communities CFO Darren Rowland resigns, with successor named

Lifestyle Communities has announced the resignation of Chief Financial Officer (and Joint Company Secretary) Darren Rowland, effective end of January 2026. He has served as CFO since May 2018.

CEO Henry Ruiz thanked Darren for his contribution, saying his “financial expertise, discipline and leadership have been instrumental in scaling our business.”

The ASX-listed operator has appointed Angela Farbridge-Currie as Chief Financial Officer Elect. Angela, formerly CFO at Grocon for more than nine years, joined Lifestyle Communities as Deputy CFO in February 2025.

On 9 October 2025, the company reported 54 new home settlements for the quarter, keeping it on track to exceed FY25 net sales of 139. In contrast, Lifestyle Communities recorded 375 sales in FY24 before the ABC’s 7.30 program in July 2024 pilloried the business. After the program aired, resident Geoff Gauci won a case in the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), with the judgment stayed pending the company’s appeal.
