Lincoln Place wins approval for 209-home community in VIC’s Gippsland Lakes

The land lease operator, founded by Ben Hindmarsh and Nick Collishaw in 2018, paid $8 million for the 10.2ha site in the town of Eagle Point, 291km east of Melbourne's CBD, where one in three people are aged over 55.

With the settlement today (Friday 27 June) and planning approval secured, the $100 million Eagle Point Lifestyle Estate will be delivered in stages over the next five years, with the first residents expected to move into their homes by Christmas 2026, Lincoln Place said.

“This is an incredible site with north-easterly water views across King Lake and has been designed as an extension of the existing neighbourhood, albeit it with access to significant resort-style amenities,” said Paul Yeo, CEO of Lincoln Place.

“The clubhouse will feature a cinema, library and alfresco dining areas, alongside a wellness centre with a gym, heated pool and yoga studio. We’re also investing in a competition-sized bowls green and pickleball court.”

Home buyers will have a selection of two and three-bedroom floor plans and facades across a range of single-storey homes, including options with RV garages.

Lincoln Place’s national portfolio of land lease communities is home to more than 3,000 residents.
