Meet the main client of Eureka’s all-age communities: retirees

In an investor strategy and market update, Managing Director and CEO Simon Owen said around 60% of residents in Eureka’s growing all-age rental communities are retirees – predominantly singles and couples – who stay long term with low turnover.

Eureka Group Holdings said most receive the Age Pension and Commonwealth Rent Assistance, supporting a reliable income stream.

Under Simon’s leadership, Eureka has lifted its rental pool by 29% and now owns/manages 2,724 senior rental units and 828 all-age rental units, with a pipeline of around 700 units.

SATURDAY talks business

Looking ahead, Simon said the company aims to complete four to six acquisitions currently under exclusivity/advanced price discovery over the next year, divest non-core assets, exit low-profit management contracts, and pursue new capital via joint ventures and co-investment to sustain growth.
